Video: Bayside Hills Remembers 9/11

BHCA hosted ten year anniversary tribute for the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.

Hundreds gathered in Bayside on Sunday night to honor the victims of the 9/11 tragedy on the 10 year anniversary of the deadliest terrorist attack on U.S. soil in American history.

The candle light vigil was hosted by the Bayside Hills Civic Association and guest speakers from all walks of life came out to share their memories of that fateful day back in September 2001 when the Towers fell.

Obviously, it…Read More did not receive the support of the community, at least not enough to make it a successful venture. This is sad. Every Sunday, rain or shine, I would stop at the market and purchase something. My favorite was the bakery stand. Often, when I stopped in the afternoon I would get two FREE French breads with my purchase. Parking was never a problem. The vendors where friendly and very informative. It was a perfect setting for the picturesque nature of this community. Too bad it is not returning.
