Hurricane Sandy wreaked havoc on the five boroughs Monday night, leaving as many as 74,000 Queens residents without power as well as 650,000 people citywide.

An estimated 331 Bayside residents were left in the dark during the storm, Con Edison said.

Patch would love to see your photos from the storm. If you have shots of Bayside, Douglaston and Little Neck, you can post them on our site.

You can either upload your own pictures to Patch's photo gallery or email them to the editor at nathan.duke@patch.com. If you email them, please remember to mention who took the photo, so they can be given credit.

I lived in this disgusting town from 61 to 99, always hated it, kept praying it would fall into the bay,

Joyce, your comment is filled with venom. I don't know what "disgusting town" you are referring to that you say you lived in for 38 years or what your experiences were. It really intrigues me what would cause you to post such a vile comment, but more so as to why you would remain in this town for 38 years? Let me assure you though as a Northeast Queens resident, if you were referring to the towns of Bay Terrace, Bayside or Douglaston and you were in any of the above mentioned towns that ever fell into the bay, trained NYC emergency service personnel and good Samaritan residents would try to rescue you if you found yourself or your family in the bay. Just curious, where do you call home now?
