THE LIST: What's Closed In Your 'Neck Of The Woods Today
Schools and libraries closed; buses being placed back in service on line-by-line basis

- are closed today. Though there has been no specific announcement, we assume the closings also include afterschool activities.
- Divine Wisdom Academy is closed.
- MTA buses in Queens are being put back in service on a line-by-line basis. Check back with mta.info for details, though be warned, the site has been slow to load due to increased Internet traffic.
- The Long Island Railroad is reporting that they are on a limited morning rush out schedule. The LIRR is operating with up to 90 minute delays due to weather-related conditions. Customers are advised to exercise caution while entering and exiting the train and while on station platforms and elevators.
- All "non-emergency" city offices are closed.
- All Queens Public library branches are closed
