4. Mayor Michael Bloomberg is facing criticism for failing to divulge the reason for former deputy mayor Stephen Goldsmith's resignation. Goldsmith was arrested on domestic violence charges days before leaving his position, contrary to Bloomberg's initial explanation that Goldsmith was leaving "to pursue private-sector opportunities."
