What you need to know this Wednesday.

1. Residents of the Westmoreland neighborhood of Little Neck remain unsatisfied with a traffic reconfiguration implemented near the Little Neck Long Island Railroad station last year. The issue resurfaced once again at , and Patch wants to know: What do you think would help solve the area's traffic troubles?

4. The MacArthur Foundation has once again selected the recipients of its prestigious "genius award," doling out $500,000 to 22 men and women doing big things in the arts and sciences. Among this year's winners is Jad Abumrad, co-host and producer of WNYC's own Radiolab. "This show is the central creative mission of my life right now, and the money might give me the space to bring new things into it," Abumrad told the New York Times. Read the full story here.
