Northeast Queens Librarians Pick Their Favorite Recent Books

Dr. Seuss (Theodor Geisel) - the man behind such children’s classics as “Green Eggs and Ham,” “The Cat and the Hat” and “Horton Hears a Who!” - would be celebrating his 107th birthday on March 2.

In his honor, the National Education Association is holding Read Across America Day during which children will be able to read in the company of adults.

So, here are some recommendations from those who know books best - local librarians from northeast Queens branches:
