Patch Pets: 'Wabbit' Tracks

Three cuddly animals up for adoption

It's sometimes the smallest creatures that make the best pets. So it goes with these three rabbits up for adoption featured this week on Little Neck Patch.

Here's some info on each, courtesy of the Long Island Rabbit Rescue Group:

Clark was part of a large group of neglected rabbits rescued in Ridge, L.I.  Although he never got any affection in his previous life, you can see he is now ready to make up for lost time. He has not wasted a minute in finding a human to cuddle with. Clark is ready to nose his way into your home. All you have to do is open your door and your heart.

Barbie is a gorgeous dutch, gray and white with the most beautiful blue-gray eyes. She is a true princess. She was very shy when she first arrived at the rescue and hid in her hidey-box, but now she bounces to the front of her pen when someone reaches in to pet her. She has truly blossomed in the short time we have had her.

Casey is a special girl, in need of a special home. She is a little cage protective and needs a human who understands her quirks. Possibly due to prior mishandling, she used to be afraid of seeing a hand come at her, but not any more. Now her foster mom can pet her and kiss her all the time.
