Despite the lousy weather outside, for the purposes of this week's Patch Pets, it's raining only cats — or kittens, in this case.
Sasha, a Siamese mix with big blue eyes at Siblings and Kitty Adoptions of Douglaston, is looking for a good home. But she's not alone. Michelle, a volunteer at the animal rescue group, is also searching for someone to adopt both Sasha and her sister, Tabitha.
"These sweeties want to go home together," Michelle said.

The kittens will be available for adoption March 3, after they've received the last of their vaccinations.
For those who are looking to bring home a dynamic duo right away, the volunteers at the animal rescue group have plenty of animals up for immediate adoption — provided potential owners are willing to take two kittens at a time.

Animals like Mookie and Brownie, described by Michelle as "gentle" and "friendly."
"They've been neutered, and tested negative for diseases," Michelle said.
