Oct. 3: Five Things You Need to Know Today

What you need to know this Monday morning.

3. Community Board 11 will meet tonight at 7:30 p.m. to discuss next year's budget priorities, among other things. The meeting will be held at M.S. 158, located at 46-35 Oceania St. in Bayside.

4. Police arrested some 700 participants of the protest known as "Occupy Wall Street" this weekend for obstructing traffic on the Brooklyn Bridge, though many say the police themselves led the protestors there in the first place. Read more from the Huffington Post here.

5. It looks like fall has finally arrived, as temperatures today aren't expected to break 60 degrees. Rain will also be accompanying the colder weather.
