3. While the culling of geese in Prospect Park in Brooklyn last summer inspired a candlelit vigil and condemnation by animal-rights groups, less known is the no-less-ambitious recent culling of birds in Little Neck Bay and Alley Pond Park. Look for our story on the contentious issue later today.
