4. Alternate side parking will be suspended on Thursday in observance of Thanksgiving. In fact, because it's a major holiday, you can stop, stand and park your car anywhere you'd like, except in places where parking rules are in effect seven days a week.

5. The weather today will be soggy and cold, with highs in the mid-40s. Luckily though, the sun is expected to re-emerge in time for Turkey Day.
