Library Dedicates Plaque to Dolan

Borough President Helen Marshall and Queens Library Tom Galante helped dedicate a new plaque to late community activist Pat Dolan in the Kew Gardens Hills Library's Community Room on Wednesday night.

Dolan, a lifelong Queens community activist and member of the Queens Civic Congress, was killed late last year when struck by a car on the way to a meeting on Hillside Avenue.

The Community Room was recently renovated thanks to a grant from the Borough President's office.
