Last Chance: Pre-K Registration

Oct. 31 is the last day of enrolling children for universal pre-kindergarten programs.

Today is your last chance to enroll your children in universal pre-kindergarten programs, city Schools Chancellor Dennis Walcott said.

All children who were born in 2008 and reside in the five boroughs are eligible for universal pre-kindergarten during the 2012 to 2013 school year.

All programs are free of charge. They can be half-day or full-day and may take place in the morning or afternoon.

To find a universal pre-kindergarten program with availability, parents should call 311 or visit the Department of Education’s website.
