Youngsters connect with nature, a history of a railroad and the return of alternate side city parking rules

Update 8:50 a.m.: Via Twitter, city announced suspension of alternate side parking rules through Saturday, Jan. 8 for ongoing snow removal and trash pickup. Parking meters still must be paid, the city says.
