A busy start news-wise for a shortened holiday work-week

Happy Monday, Little Neck. Here are the stories, events and announcements for the beginning of this shortened holiday week:

1. First off, congrats to the New York Jets for their 28-21 clutch victory over the New England Patriots yesterday at Gillette Field — a big win for long-suffering fans watching the game live at and at other points across Queens.
