Jan. 11: More Snow

Area residents, sanitation officials brace for more white stuff, with 8 to 14 inches forecast tonight into Wednesday

Be prepared, Little Neck. Less than three weeks after a blizzard brought things to a standstill, our neighborhood faces yet another major snow event. 

Here are the stories, events and announcements for a calm Tuesday before the storm:

1. Here we go again. The National Weather Service issued a Winter Storm Warning for our area, with forecast snowfall from 8 to 14 inches and wind gusts up to 25 mph. Right now, forecasters predict the heaviest snowfall will occur after midnight tonight.
