The Rockaholics will perform music of The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Kinks, The Who, The Doors, Eric Clapton, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Led Zeppelin, The Band, Stevie Ray Vaughan and ZZ Top tonight. The concert will begin at 9 p.m. at The Attic, located at 42-25 Douglaston Parkway.
Just down the street, Strawberry’s Sports Grill will celebrate the birthday of its namesake, former Mets slugger Darryl Strawberry, with drink and food specials. Also this weekend: The city’s Department of Transportation has announced there will be lane closures on the Northern Boulevard Bridge over the Flushing River until 2 p.m. today. The closures will allow for the DOT to make bridge repairs.
