Bayside-Whitestone Lions

This newly chartered chapter of Lions international is just starting out but already doing a lion's share of giving, donating turkey with all the trimmings to St. Andrews Church in Bayside. But with so much good work still left to be done, they could really use your help. So to make a donation to the Bayside Whitestone Lions e-mail Paul Vallone at info@paulvallone.com.

Bayside Volunteer Ambulance Corporation

The Bayside Volunteer Ambulance Corps was founded in 1955 and has helped save countless lives though the years. But this all volunteer organization relies heavily on the community for donations and support, accepting monetary donations, equipment, and volunteers. To find out how you can help call (718) 631-3333.

Bayside Historical Society

For over 50 years, the Bayside Historical Society has been instrumental in preserving the history of the area as well as to help protect some of Bayside's longest standing landmarks. But with recent cut back in city funding to BHS, the need for private donations has never been more critical. Click here to make a donation for the holidays.

New York State Veterans' Home at St. Albans

While the New York State Veterans' Home at St. Albans isn't technically in Bayside, making a donation—be it money, clothing, whatever—is probably among the most worthy causes one can donate to in Queens. To find out what you can do to help call 718-990-0300.

The Giving Tree

Starting Saturday, November 26, will be collecting presents for under privileged families. Those interested in making a donation are invited to grab a tag from one of the four trees set up inside the church, labeled as to the gifts being requested. Sacred Heart is located at 215-35 38th Avenue in Bayside. For more information call 718-428-2200.
