Great Escape: Citi Field Tours

Behind the scenes look into the stadium that replaced Shea.

Next at the dish—a private tour inside the home of the Amazin' Mets.

That's right, sports fans; the New York Mets are inviting everyone in for a tour of the now 2 1/2 year old stadium.

Highlights include a walk through the clubhouse, across the field, around the dugout and into the production area, (i.e. the scoreboard control room).

Then it's off to the Sterling and Empire levels for a peek inside the luxury boxes before heading down to the Mets Hall of Fame and Museum.

Free parking is available in the G-lot, located on 126th Street, and all tour patrons are asked to arrive 15 minutes prior to departure.

Tours depart from the Jackie Robinson Rotunda located inside the stadium and folks are encouraged to bring their cameras.
