Alley Pond Environmental Center- 228-06 Northern Blvd.
Ages 8-12
Is your child an animal lover? Then make sure to stop by Douglaston's Alley Pond Environmental Center for a unique animal care program that teaches children about taking care of animals. The center will give children hands-on experience in feeding, brush, cleaning and learning about all the needs of the animals. At the end of the program, each child will receive a snack and an animal care trainee certificate.
Pre-registration is required as space is limited to 8 children.
Admission: $12 Member Fee, $16 Non Members

Barnes & Noble Bay Terrace- 23-80 Bell Blvd, Bayside.
Admission: Free
Stop by Bay Terrace's Barnes & Noble for an exciting adventure story reading for children as part of the site's weekly storytime.

Young Israel of Forest Hills- 70-00 Yellowstone Blvd, Forest Hills
Ages 3 and older
Your little ones can learn how to make delicious and nutritious foods from scratch that they will enjoy eating. Give them kitchen skills, independence and nutritional ingredients that they can take with them for the rest of their lives.

Queens Museum of Art- NYC Building, Flushing Meadow Park, Corona.
Make a mess with your kids this weekend at this fun and interactive workshop. Giant sheets of paper, pastels, pencils, water colors and much more will be provided for attendees. Dress your kids appropriately because this project will get messy.
