1. The National Weather Service has issued a High Wind Warning for conditions during the tail end of a powerful storm expected to drop up to two inches of rain on the region.

5. An anti-abortion billboard in SoHo will be taken down due to negative reaction throughout the city, the New York Times reported yesterday. The ad campaign commissioned by the group Life Always sought to reach out to black women, but was blasted by at least of Bed-Stuy Patch in Brooklyn as being "sensationalist."
