Douglaston: Week In Review

Check Our List to Make Sure You've Read the Top Stories from Your Community

The winter of our discontent pressed on this week as snow continued to fall on Douglaston and the five boroughs.

It was a busy week for local news. Douglaston Patch debuted a new column - The Conservation Conversation - and posted stories on the mayor's State of the City speech, filmmaker Elana Mugdan, neighborhood locales where sports fans could watch today's Jets game and a proposal to turn P.S. 188's Gifted and Talented class into a citywide program.

Check back with us this week for coverage of Councilman Dan Halloran's, R-Whitestone, town hall meeting. We'll also post an update on one of the community's top stories on Wednesday. Make sure to drop by that afternoon to find out more.
