Mayor Bloomberg stops by the Douglaston Pump Station to announce a new citywide water leak notification program that he said will alert customers if a pipe is broken underneath their homes or their water use has spiked.

Tuesday
Community Board 11 Chairman Jerry Iannece is re-elected at the group's monthly meeting. Residents of Bayside Hills turn out in droves to CB 11 to blast a variance request and board members discuss Fiscal Year 2011 budget priorities.

Wednesday

Thursday
U.S. Sen. Charles Schumer, D-N.Y., announces that Queens will be repaid by the federal government for snow removal costs accrued during  the blizzard that swept the five boroughs late last year.
