City Pools Open for the Summer

Fort Totten and Marie Curie Park are two northeast Queens pools where residents can cool off during the season's high temperatures.

The city's Department of Parks and Recreation has opened its public pools across the five boroughs for the summer.

The pool at, located on the Cross Island Parkway between Totten Avenue and 15th Road in Bayside, is now open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The Marie Curie Park pool, which is located at 46th Avenue and 46th Road between Oceania Street and 211th Street, is also open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

And the P.S. 186 playground, located at Little Neck Parkway and 72nd Avenue, is now operating during the same hours.

Little Neck's Deepdale Gardens Community Center pool, which is not operated by the city, is also open for the summer.

Most city pools include swimming programs and will remain open through the Labor Day weekend. For more information, visit the Parks Department's website.
