CB 11 Will Hold First Meeting of Fall on Sept. 12

Board will ask residents to submit their capital and expense priorities for the city's Fiscal Year 2013 budget.

Community Board 11 will host its first meeting of the fall on Monday at Bayside’s M.S. 158.

The board, which covers Douglaston, Little Neck and Bayside, will call for input from northeast Queens residents on capital and expense priorities for Fiscal Year 2013’s city budget.

There will be a public hearing on an application to the Board of Standards and Appeals to renew a variance for commercial use in a residential district in North Bayside and East Flushing.

Another hearing will cover a variance renewal application for North Shore Plumbing, which operates in a residential district along Bayside’s Northern Boulevard.

The board’s Transportation Committee will give an update on the district during the meeting, which will begin at 7:30 p.m.
