Queens Borough President Helen Marshall toured the hurricane-ravaged neighborhoods of Breezy Point, Far Rockaway and Broad Channel this week.
As she spoke to borough residents — many of whom had been left homeless by the storm —
Her office shared some of their remarkable photos. Paired with the photos of Sandy's wrath in northeast Queens and across Brooklyn and Long Island, they make for a grim, post-storm portrait.
