Il Bacco Offers Fine Italian Dining Along Northern Boulevard

Come spring, northeast Queens residents will be able to have a more expansive Italian fine dining experience once Il Bacco opens a rooftop garden in its new locale at 253-24 Northern Blvd.

The restaurant has been a popular spot in Little Neck for 18 years. Four months ago, owner Jo Oppedisano decided to open move the eatery several doors down to its current site.

General Manager Maurizio Vendittelli says, “Just the space itself is unique because it offers a more modern style city-like dining room,” General Manager Maurizio Vendittelli said.

The Menu: Classic favorites on the menu include an array of homemade pasta dishes and Lombata di Vitello, or grilled veal chop. Fresh fish is delivered daily, including everything from salmon and cod to red snapper and calamari.

The new location also features a brick pizza oven. Patrons will be able to choose Margharita pizza, a classic mozzarella with tomato and basil, or Il Bacco’s more unique items, such as the Atomica. It’s made with spicy soppresata, onion, egg, mozarella and tomato.

The menu even offers a nutella pizza. Yes, nutella. This pie is made with chocolate, hazelnut and coconut.

Drinks: The restaurant has a full bar and the wait staff often makes wine recommendations to compliment the meal.

Price: An entree can range from $15 to $36.

Reservations: It is a good idea to make a reservation. Il Bacco is typically crowded in the evenings.
