Avella to Host Town Hall Meeting on Nov. 3

Representatives from various agencies will be on-hand to answer questions.

State Sen. Tony Avella, D-Bayside, will host a town hall meeting in Queens Village on Nov. 3.

The meeting, which is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m., will be held at P.S. 33, located at 91-37 222nd St.

The senator has invited representatives from the city’s Police Department, Metropolitan Transportation Authority and departments of Transportation, Buildings, Sanitation, Human Resources Administration and Parks and Recreation to attend.

The state Comptroller’s Office will also be present to assist residents in receiving unclaimed funds.

The town hall is being held in conjunction with the Hollis Hills, Holliswood, Hollis Park Gardens and Rocky Hill civic associations.
