AT&T Customers Get a Boost in Mobile Service

The network giant has poured millions of dollars into keeping New York connected.

AT&T customers can expect a boost to their mobile broadband service, as part of the network giant's efforts to improve the infrastructure in a number of Queens neighborhoods, including Little Neck.

The upgrades will impact customers whose phones are 4G capable, meaning they will experience faster connectivity speeds and more comprehensive coverage.

AT&T has spent $200 million in 2011 alone building up its wireline and wireless networks in the state of New York. The company plans to spend $20 billion to increase coverage nationwide.
