Artichoke Heart Dip

Smooth and delicious, the secret ingredient to this artichoke dip is love

Forget about your diet for one night and splurge with this creamy dip that'll go straight to your heart. After all, there will be plenty of time to burn the extra calories... later.

Artichoke Heart Dip

Ingredients
2 jars marinated artichoke hearts
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 round, unsliced loaf of sourdough bread
1 small onion, diced 

2 tablespoon of olive oil

3 cloves garlic

Instructions

1. Sauté onions and garlic in olive oil until golden brown.

2. Add un-drained artichoke hearts to saucepan.

3. Add in 1/4 cup of Parmesan cheese.

4. When slightly creamy remove from saucepan and place into food processor.  Mix until smooth & creamy.

5. Remove from food processor and place into large bowl. 

6. Add in 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese, and the remaining 1/4 cup of Parmesan cheese.

7. Cut a round top off of the sour dough bread.  Carve out bread to make for a bread bowl.

8. Place dip into bread bowl and heat oven at 350 degrees.
9. Place bread bowl in oven and heat for approx. 5-10 min, or until cheese has fully melted.
