Good morning, Little Neck! While we wait for that elusive three-day weekend that involves taking Friday, not Monday, off… here are the 5 Things You Need To Know for this unsettled and stormy Thursday:

1. The of the Queens Library will hold its Spring Festivity on May 5 at 7 p.m. in a program that includes great American songs by Arnie Gruber, a summer twilight story time for 1- to 5-year-olds and a Buy-A-Book Fundraiser.

2. As Southampton Village on Long Island becomes the first municipality in New York State by retailers, there are questions over whether a much, much bigger city will follow suit.
