Pockets of heavy rain persist into morning commute

Happy Wednesday, Little Neck! There are times when staying dry is the best way to start the day... and this morning is certainly no exception.

As of 5:30 a.m., .63 inches of rain fell in Little Neck as a steady stream of stormy weather lashed through the region. And it looks like showers will persist throughout the day — so better keep that umbrella at arm's length for the near future, folks.
