Alternate Side Parking, Transit Changes for the Holidays

The times they are a-changin’ – at least for the holiday weekend.
Here's the rundown of changes to city services.
1. On Dec. 24, post offices and mail delivery will operate on a regular Saturday schedule.

2. Alternate side parking is suspended on both Christmas Day and Dec. 26.
3. The Long Island Railroad will operate trains on a regular weekend schedule for Christmas Day.

4. New York City buses will run on a Saturday schedule on Christmas Eve and will have reduced hours on Dec. 25. Visit the MTA’s website for more information.
