Alternate Side Parking Suspended for Jan. 16

Parking meters will remain in effect.

Alternate side parking regulations have been suspended for Jan. 16 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday, according to the city's Department of Transportation.

Vehicle owners in the five boroughs will not be required to move their cars as the city celebrates the birthday and legacy of the civil rights leader on Monday.

But parking meters and all other regulations will remain in effect.
