Alternate Side Parking Suspended for Jan. 1
There's no need to move your car on New Year's Day.
Alternate side parking has been suspended on Jan. 1 in observance of New Year's Day, according to the city's Department of Transportation.
There will be no street cleaning and parking meters will not be in effect on the holiday. Government offices will also be closed for the day.
