Alternate Side Parking Suspended for April 5 Through 7

Residents will not need to move cars as city honors Holy Thursday, Good Friday and the first day of Passover.

Alternate side parking has been suspended for April 5 through April 7 in observance of Holy Thursday, Good Friday and the first day of Passover, according to the city's Department of Transportation.

Parking meters and all other regulations will be in effect.

Holy Thursday commemorates the last Thursday before Easter, when Jesus Christ had the Last Supper with his disciples, while Good Friday pays homage to Christ's crucifixion.
