Alley Pond Environmental Center to Debut Boardwalk with Brunch

Douglaston site will host tour, serve food during Oct. 2 grand opening.

Alley Pond Environmental Center will host a brunch fundraiser on Oct. 2 to celebrate the Douglaston site’s new boardwalk trail.

Attendees will be given a guided tour of the boardwalk and take part in a brunch catered by the Little Neck Plaza’s Panera, Stop & Shop and local resident Jack Bruccuceri.

Construction on the center’s boardwalk was completed in August. The brunch will act as the grand opening.
