A Divorced Pisces

A lonely fish wants answers about love

Hello Yael,

I was born on March 2, 1987 at 5:00 pm in Brooklyn, NY.  I’m Pisces with all my heart and soul. I believe in love, true love, but it doesn't seem to believe in me.

I married a Virgo who seemed to be very romantic in the beginning, but after marriage we had so many differences that I couldn't handle it.  We reached a point where we couldn't understand each other or have a real conversation about anything.

After one year, I decided to leave him.  It was one of the best decisions I have ever made.  Now that I am single again, I am dating really nice guys, but (and this is where the issue rises) I don't seem to find anyone with whom I can fully fall in love.  They are either Leos or Scorpios who are head over heels for me, but I don't seem to feel the same way about them, or they are Capricorns and Cancers who are the ones I really like and admire, but they don't seem to feel the same way towards me.  Am I going to be the lonely fish in the sea for long? Does the love I am looking for truly exist?

Dear Lonely Fish,

At first glance, your chart indicates a paradoxical aspect in your nature.  Individuals with a Pisces sun and Aries moon are self-reliant, restless, generous, assertive, and kind-hearted.

They are creative geniuses and starters, but they have a difficult time seeing things through.  Obviously, this characteristic also manifests itself in interpersonal and romantic relationships.

Your chart indicates that you love new experiences.  Although you are capable of loving fully and loyally, your tendencies are to lose some interest after some time.

In your case, I would suggest working on yourself and defining what you want long-term.  You are 24 years old. Although you crave a real companion, you should learn from the past.

There is no rush to enter in a long-term relationship right now.  Based on your chart, you could be regarded as fortunate in love, so stop worrying about real love not coming.

Spend time learning about yourself.  You are impatient, and with good reason.  It’s difficult to look at relationships the same after a marriage; however, if you want the next man to be the real deal, you must learn to harness your restless nature. Many misunderstanding arise because of your multifaceted nature.  This is not your fault; you simply have a dualistic nature.

On one end, you are open to a variety of possibilities and interests, but you lose sight of a clear goal.  On the surface, you appear reserved, critical, quiet, and analytical due to your Virgo rising.  However, underneath it all, you have a restless and fiery temperament.  As a result, you feel misunderstood.

Although your question specifically deals with falling in love, I feel I must tell you that this will not be a problem in your life if you work on yourself.  Invest time in creative endeavors, such as writing, dancing and photography.  Since you are someone who is independent and free, you must find something that will stimulate you in the long-term so that you do not manifest issues in your interpersonal relationships.  Cancer and Capricorn are well suited for you, and you will most likely settle down with one of these.  However, now is the time to invest in yourself.  Thank you for writing.
