5 Things You Need to Know Today

The week is beginning to wind down, but the events keep coming in Douglaston. From water color painting and movie club screenings to writer's workshops and financial services events, Patch's calendar has it all covered.

Douglaston residents may have turkey on the mind, but Thanksgiving is still a week away. In the meantime, there are a number of important stories you can read about on the site today.
