The Little Neck-Douglaston Ambulance Corps will host an EMS Celebration Day from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. today at its Marathon Parkway headquarters. Make sure to drop by Douglaston Patch tomorrow morning for our coverage.

This afternoon, we'll post our weekly Parent Talk column. Our council of local moms and dads will discuss how to help children with homework without doing it for them.
