Good morning, Douglaston and welcome to the start to the middle of the week!

And what a week it’s been, from volatile markets around the globe to a derailed NJ Transit train causing serious here at home, there never seems to be a dull moment.

But by noon today, we’ll official be past the halfway point to what’s turning out to be a formidable week, not to mention one day closer to Douglaston’s Community Day extravaganza, which is going to be held in front of  on August 13—more on this at 2 p.m.
