Proposed Opening and Co-location of New High School with Martin Van Buren High School

Public Hearing regarding a school located in District 26

This high school is one of 5 District 26 high schools that until the removal of the previous school principal, was on a 10 year decline. Now, over the last year, a stellar leader, Principal Sam Sochet has taken this school from its failing path to begin a turnaround. As a community, your voice can be heard about the DOE's proposed Co-location plans to put another new high school, grades 9-14 (high school + 2 years of college). There are many pro's and con's and this public hearing is a chance for the DOE to hear your voice.
