California-based chain Yogurtland has opened new store along Bell Boulevard where customers can choose from 16 flavored and nearly 70 toppings.
The store, located at 40-02 Bell Blvd., debuted three weeks ago and plans to hold a grand opening on Aug. 31.
"This is is the first Yogurtland in Queens and, so far, we've gotten a great response," manager Mustafa Afif said. "When we were under construction, people were very excited and kept asking when we'd open."
The shop's flavors include plain tart, Maquis berry tart, strawberry lemonade sorbet and 13 other types of yogurt, while toppings include everything from fruits to caramel sauce.
"I think people really like having a healthy alternative in Bell Boulevard," co-owner Mark Levine said. "And it's self serve, which is good for people in a rush."
Yogurtland, which has a store in Brooklyn and two in Manhattan, is open from11 a.m. To 10 p.m. on Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to midnight on Friday and Saturday and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Sunday.
