Verizon Store on Bell Boulevard to Close
Mobile phone chain store to close at the end of August.
The Verizon Wireless store on Bell Boulevard will close at the end of the month, a representative from the mobile network said.
The store, located at 39-12 Bell Blvd. in Bayside, has a sign in its window notifying customers that it would close at the end of August.
An employee at the Verizon Wireless store located at 191-30 Northern Blvd. said the two stores would be combining.
Lyle Sclair, executive director of the Bayside Village Business Improvement District, said there was currently no replacement planned at the Bell Boulevard store's site.
