Sold!: Great Neck Tudor for $815K

Deal on four-bedroom brick manse closed April 27

Though at least one national housing trend showed a glimmer of hope on an otherwise gloomy residential real estate horizon in recent days, the market close to home still seemed stuck in neutral heading into prime open house season.

According to the Multiple Listing Service of Long Island, there were no closings on any of the available residential properties in the Little Neck-Douglaston area in the past week.

So we had to travel across the Queens-Nassau County line to find this deal that closed Wednesday on a handsome four-bedroom, two-and-a-half bath Tudor on Somerset Drive in Great Neck for $815,000.
