New Eateries in Northeast Queens

Kuzina Kabaret debuts at Bay Terrace Shopping Center, while Napoli Joe replaces DiMaria's.

Two new eateries have recently made their grand openings in northeast Queens.

Italian and Greek cuisine and catering site Kuzina Kabaret made its debut at Bay Terrace Shopping Plaza, while Napolia Joe pizzeria has opened in the locale that formerly housed DiMaria's in the shopping plaza on Northern Boulevard in Little Neck.

Kuzina Kabaret

Menu: Kuzina Kabaret offers a full coffee bar as well as eggs, bagels and muffins for breakfast. For lunch and dinner, the eatery has a variety of salads as well as an option to create your own salad.

It also features 15 signature wrap options, including Chicken Caesar, honey bun, Bayside tuna, Mediterranean and catch of the day. The restaurant also serves paninis, such as salmon steak, classic Cuban, mozzarella and tomato and turkey melt.

Its gourmet sandwiches include rare roast beef, chicken cordon bleu, turkey club and Italian combo. The dinner menu has everything from pastichio and moussaka to lasagna, spinach pie, breaded or grilled chicken cutlet, stuffed tilapia and several shrimp options.

Kuzina Kabaret also caters for all occasions.

Napoli Joe

Where: 248-25 Northern Blvd., Little Neck in the old site.

Menu: This pizzeria and restaurant offers a family meal special that includes a large cheese pizza, a house salad and 10 garlic bites for $19.95. But this option is only for delivery and take-out.

The express lunch special includes a choice of a cup of soup of mixed green salad, lunch pasta or specialty pizza slice and fountain drink for $8.95 until 4 p.m. every day. Napoli Joe also caters.

Its starters and sides menu has everything from wings, eggplant rollatini and garlic bread to mozzarella sticks and fried calamari.

The eatery also offers rolls and calzones, a variety of salads and Italian classics, such as chicken parmigiana and chicken bruschetta. Pastas include lasagna, baked ziti, penne alla vodka, ravioli, mac and cheese and spaghetti with meatballs.

Its pizza selections are regular, Sicilian, grandma, bruschetta, spicy sausage and onion, Amici, white pizza and salad pizza as well as an option to make your own pizza, which includes 18 different toppings.
