Local Liquor Licenses Up For Renewal

Buddy's Deli and Pier 25A are among those eateries requesting permission to renew their license.

Some familiar names around Bayside are looking to renew their liquor licenses.

To do that, they apply to the State Liquor Authority, which seeks input from the community through . As a matter of routine, CB 11 notifies community members of establishments seeking renewed licenses almost every month.

"The only time we’ve objected is if we speak with Lieutenant of , and he knows that within the time that they last go their license, that there’s been problems," said CB 11 District Manager Susan Seinfeld.

Problems can include serving alcohol to minors, or brawling.

Seinfeld says the licenses are still being considered, and "if anyone has a problem with them, we hope they’ll let us know."
