UPDATE: Shuttered Little Neck Restaurant Expected To Reopen Tomorrow

KFC-Taco Bell franchise at Little Neck Plaza has been closed since Saturday due to a gas leak

Update, March 22, 1 p.m.: The KFC-Taco Bell at Little Neck Plaza, which has been closed since last weekend due to a gas leak, is expected to open tomorrow morning, according to an employee.

The employee said workers with Con Edison were expected to be at the restaurant today to fix the gas leak. 

Customers looking for a bucket of fried chicken or a taco at Little Neck Plaza this weekend were out of luck.

Workers with Con Edison closed the at 254-65 Horace Harding Expy. after discovering a gas leak on the premises Saturday morning.

"We can't do anything until the leak is fixed, and we don't know when that will be," said the restaurant manager, who did not want to be identified. "We hope it's soon."

The manager added that Con Ed workers promised to return to fix the problem, but had not shown up yet.

, located adjacent to the KFC-Taco Bell, was open for business Sunday. Another business, Davis Vision, is closed on Sundays.
