GameStop Set To Replace Recently-Shuttered Diner

Video game retailer to move into space vacated by Little Neck Luncheonette

Little Neck Plaza will soon get a new tenant.

Video game retailer GameStop will open in a location formerly occupied  by , according to a representative of the shopping center's property manager, KimCo Realty.

A timeline for the grand opening of the new Little Neck location had not been set.

GameStop joins national chain Starbucks and at the shopping center, located along a busy corridor near Exit 32 of the Long Island Expressway.

The store will share Little Neck Plaza's notoriously tricky parking lot with locally owned businesses  — the list of which decreased by one with the of Little Neck Luncheonette this week.

Little Neck Luncheonette failed to open Monday with little to no warning. The representative for KimCo, the diner's former landlord, declined to comment on the matter.
