Eatery Sought for Vacant Bell Boulevard Storefront
Landlord is searching for a cafe to replace former Chinese restaurant site.
A vacant storefront along Bell Boulevard is filled with booths, new plastic-covered chairs and a refurbished kitchen area, but there is currently no new business opening at the site.
Neighbors of the site, located at 42-20 Bell Blvd., said the landlord was searching for a restaurant to move into the spot.
"He wanted to put in a sports bar, but now he's trying to bring in a cafe," a realtor who operates nearby said.
The storefront previously housed a Chinese restaurant, but has been vacant for some time to allow for renovations.
The Bayside Village Business Improvement District could not be immediately reached for information on the site.
